Scholarships (Yrs 7 to 12)

Australian Co-operative Entry Program (ACEP) gives students the opportunity to apply for an Academic Scholarship provided by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER).

Who’s Eligible?

Students undertake the Entry Program Scholarship Test at Year 7 level and a subsidy on fees may be awarded, subject to the performance assessment. Applicable to all independent schools in South Australia, ACEP scholarships are open to all students who wish to graduate into Year 8.

Materials Available

See visit the ACER website (Preparing for the Test), which gives useful links to materials available for purchase.

What does the Scholarship cover?

Academic Scholarships offered for the 2017 academic year provide a discount to the tuition fee component of the school fees for Years 7 – 12 (please note that it does not extend to the curriculum fee or the cost of textbooks – the curriculum fee component of school fees has not increased from 2015).

There is a break review at Year 10 to establish whether the scholarship is being utilised effectively.

About the Test

Examinations take place on Saturday, 4 February 2017 in the Media Room at the St George College, Senior Campus from 8.45 am to 12.15 pm.
